Our Story
Close to Paradise Assisted Living was birthed from years of caring for senior adults with love and compassion. For nearly 20 years, Florin and Adina have worked in the geriatric field with wholehearted commitment. Throughout the years, they have designed and implemented successful and effective ways in providing each individual with personalized care, which was carefully structured and designed based on each person’s unique need, in a private, home like environment setting. Florin and Adina both started working as young, energetic caregivers with geriatric patients early in life. Adina has pursued years of studies in the medical field and is currently a registered nurse. Florin is a certified caregiver, as well as one of the pastors at a small church in North Springfield. They are blessed with two beautiful and amazing daughters.
Through years of consistent dedication and commitment, they have touched countless lives of families and individuals, by bringing joy, comfort, hope, while maintaining quality of life for patients through the end of life journey.
It is their hope and desire to continue to touch the lives of many more people in the years to come, and to continue to make a difference in their community.
